Co-founders of Roger Highland Productions, Melissa Izbicki and Arian Harandi, announced today, May 31st, that their debut feature film, The Big Day, is scheduled for completion later this year on July 30th.
Melissa Izbicki, the producer of the film, made the following statement about the film’s current status:
“After a five week long principal photography schedule, the film is currently in post-production and will be completed by July 30th, 2016. Specifically, we’re wrapping up the final details of color correction and sound design and couldn’t be more pleased with how the film is coming together. It definitely makes for a hilarious and entertaining watch.”
Arian Harandi added that, “The film will be released initially on the festival circuit following its July end completion and will be released on traditional distribution outlets shortly thereafter. Making this film was one of the most amazing, stressful, and exciting times of our lives and we’re thrilled to share this insanely funny film with the public.”
The film also features an original song by the popular Orange County ska band, Suburban Legends. In conjunction with the completion of the feature film, Roger Highland Productions will be releasing an original music video for the band.
